“My mother and I never really understood one another. We translated each other's meanings and I seemed to hear less than what was said, while my mother heard more.”

Amy Tan, The Joy Luck Club

The mother-daughter relationship is one of the most complex relationships in the history of mankind. Time has shown that it can be a close-knitted one or one fraught with complexities. Does being thousands of miles apart change the relationship in any way? What is the impact of the changing face of technology today on intergenerational relationships?

Through a game, two twenty-something daughters provoke each other to reveal truths about their relationships with their respective mothers through the recreation of actual dialogue between them and their mothers. What will happen when we confront our mothers with questions we’ve been dying to have answered live on stage?
